https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJYSwPbVp_Q This is a very helpful vlog/tutorial on the Boss RC-30 loop pedal by David Macara Brown. David is a guitar player from Scotland who has an Honors Degree in popular music, and has performed in bands of many different kinds. (Orchestras, Rock Bands, etc.). In this tutorial, he addresses a problem that many people have with looping pedals- not getting their loops in time. He shows us his techniques for operating his looping pedal to help us. 2.) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_looping This is a wiki page about the history, users, and creation of the live-looping device. There have been many different kinds of looping devices created in the past century by many different people with names that didn't always quite stick. This is a good piece of information to know so you can have some background as to how the looping device came to be. 3.) http://www.giadamusic.com/ Giada is a music looping software you can use straight on your computer. Here's a youtube video to serve as an example as to how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnwFLpd-gvo It works alot like a regular looping machine, just more accessible. It is compatible with MIDI file instruments, and basically anything that a physical looper can work with! This could be a great software to use for a final project! Comments are closed.
